# Params Precompile

> Read any module parameter by subspace and key from EVM contracts with the Params precompile.

The Params precompile reads module parameters from the Cosmos `x/params` subspaces. It has one `view` method. The precompile is available since v6.7.0.

## Interface

## Methods

| Method | Returns |
| - | - |
| `params(subspace, key)` | The value of the parameter `key` in `subspace`, as a JSON string. For example, `params("staking", "MaxValidators")` returns the maximum number of validators. |

The call reverts if `subspace` or `key` is empty, or if `subspace` does not exist. If `key` does not exist in `subspace`, the call returns an empty string.
